Payroll Management Services in Sharjah, UAE

Payroll Management services in UAE

Payroll looks simple until you add overtime, leave, loans, joiners and leavers, end-of-service gratuity and pension contributions for UAE nationals. Salaries must also be paid on time through the Wage Protection System (WPS), and late or incorrect payments can lead to fines and a block on new work permits.

At Hussain Al Shemsi Chartered Accountants, we run your monthly payroll accurately and confidentially, prepare WPS salary files, calculate gratuity and final settlements, and give you clear payroll reports. You keep control of approvals while we handle the detail.

Payroll in the UAE at a glance

  • Labour law: Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 governs private-sector employment, wages, leave and end-of-service benefits.
  • WPS: mainland employers registered with MoHRE pay salaries electronically through WPS via an approved bank or exchange house.
  • Gratuity: 21 days’ basic wage for each of the first five years and 30 days for each year after, for employees with at least one year of service.
  • Pension for UAE nationals: GPSSA contributions apply to Emirati employees in the private sector (Abu Dhabi has its own pension fund).
  • No personal income tax: there is no UAE income tax on salaries, but payroll costs still need proper records for Corporate Tax.

MoHRE can issue warnings, fines and a suspension of new work permits, and serious cases can be referred for legal action. Paying through WPS on time avoids these risks.

For employees with at least one year of service, gratuity is 21 days’ basic wage for each of the first five years and 30 days’ basic wage for each year after, capped at two years’ wages.
